Website lists 100 ‘worst baby names’

Lists of popular baby names are published at regular intervals – the Office for National Statistics publishes an annual table of the most common names chosen in England and Wales this year.

But now the baby experts have created a list of the 100 ‘worst’ baby names, and if you’ve already picked one, there’s a good chance you won’t be happy.

Website Emma’s diary, organized the list, reports the Echo.

Some names are obviously not for everyone – like Adolf, Hitler and Boris.

Experts at Emma’s Diary said, “Some names can remind you of people or places from your past and you may hate a name because of it.

“Alternatively, you might have liked a name in the past but now it’s super popular, and all the other kids seem to have it and, so now you hate it. Don’t worry, we’ve all been there!”

They added, “This list is supposed to be a bit of fun and no offense is intended. If you like a certain name you should use it and forget what other people think.”
