musicube raises $ 560,000 in funding

musicube, a Hamburg, Germany-based provider of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) solutions for the music industry, has raised $ 560,000 in funding.

The tour was led by Holger Hübner, co-founder of Wacken Open Air, one of the biggest metal festivals in the world.

The company intends to use the funds to expand into the US market and provide scalable solutions for the music streaming market.

Led by Founder and CEO David Hoga, musicube provides a suite of music AI solutions that provide rich metadata for music labels, publishers, rights holders and others looking for tools to enable discovery or discover nuances in musical data. The software, delivered through web widgets and an application programming interface (API), provides perfect metadata for music labels, publishers, streaming services and broadcasters, among many other audiences. The musicube playlist generator – available at – allows users to create complex song playlists that can then be played on Spotify and, soon, on d ‘other services.

The technology generates over 500 tags (moods, instruments, etc.) for over 47 million songs using its audio analysis AI.

Customers include Sony Music, Budde Music Publishing, Music Promotion Network (MPN), and PHONONET, among others.
