Chinese diplomacy website launched_Chinadaily.com.cn

Internet users around the world can now access information on China’s latest diplomatic measures as well as Xi Jinping’s thinking on diplomacy by browsing an informative website launched on Monday.

The information portal, Chinese Diplomacy in the New Era, is accessible at www.chinadiplomacy.org.cn.

With its slogan “A Better Way to Understand China,” the website serves as an official platform for presenting and popularizing Xi Jinping’s thinking on diplomacy.

It is currently available in Chinese and English, with further language versions planned.

The website was co-created by the China Internet Information Center of the China International Publishing Group and the leading think tank, the China Institute of International Studies, which is also home to the Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy Studies Center.

Its operations are guided by the Advertising Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The website collects important foreign affairs activities, remarks, statements and articles signed by Xi, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, since the 18th CPC National Congress in 2012. For example, it contains the text full video address to the World Health Summit on May 21 of this year.

It contains literature and studies that focus on Xi Jinping’s thought on diplomacy, and Xi’s quotes and books are available on the website, which has a user-friendly design.

One of its columns, “Diplomatic Timeline,” features a dynamic online map that features traces of Xi’s high-profile diplomatic activities, including overseas visits and key international and regional meetings.

The website is constantly updating the latest news and information on Chinese diplomacy.
